Cindy A. Vacca, 59, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024 after a lengthy illness with cancer. Cindy was the beloved daughter of Patrick and Jackie Vacca, loving mother of Stephannie Pierce and her companion Justin Germain, devoted better half of Richard Pierce for 43 years, dear sister of David Vacca and his wife Maryann and Lynn Colarusso and her husband Vinny, adoring aunt of Monique, Dean and Danielle Vacca and Jacquelyn and Kaitlyn Colarusso, great aunt of Cameron, and the best friend of Paulette Giguere.
Cindy loved playing bingo and was a Saturday night regular with her mom at St. Ann’s in West Bridgewater where she volunteered as well; she enjoyed playing the lottery as well. In the past Cindy was employed as a pharmacy technician at C.V.S. on Belmont St. Brockton for many years. She is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Following cremation, all are welcome to memorial calling hours on Sunday, September 29th from 12-3:30 p.m. and a 3:30 p.m. closing service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
