Christine Marie LaBarre

Christine Marie LaBarre, 42, of Quincy, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 8, 2026. She was born and raised in Brockton and was a 2001 graduate of Brockton High School. Chrissy attended The University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she obtained a bachelor’s degree. While attending The University of Tulsa, she was on the Hurricane Crew team for five years, including rowing at the Head of the Charles in Boston.

Chrissy received her MBA from the Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business. She worked in the information technology industry for many years, most recently as vice president of AI for MassMutual.

Christine was an avid worldwide traveler, including visiting at least forty-three states within the U.S., but mostly enjoyed the family cottage in Byron, Maine. She enjoyed going to yearly Comic-Cons across the country, also four of the Disney resorts of the world, and Star Wars conventions.

The greatest joy in Chrissy’s life was her daughter Constance “Cici” Irene LaBarre, age 3 ½.  Cici will miss her best friend, her Mommy, the most. Christine is also survived by her parents Victor and Mary (Coots) LaBarre of Brockton; her siblings Samantha Olson of Lexington, Kentucky, Jennifer LaBarre of Quincy, and Lawrence LaBarre of Quincy; Samantha’s children Emerson Love and Alex Olson; her great-niece Willow Olson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

All are welcome to calling hours on Monday, August 17th from 3-7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral from Waitt Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 18th at 9 a.m., a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Michael Church, 87 North Main St., Avon.
