Christine D. (Pelaggi) Parkinson, a lifelong resident of Avon, passed away peacefully after a brief illness, on January 7, 2024 at the age of 66. Chris was the beloved wife of the late Ron Parkinson and the devoted mother of Henri and Debra Parkinson and step-mom of Ron Parkinson, Jr. (Lee Ann) of Middleboro and Debby (Evan) Siamantouras of Raynham. She was the devoted sister of Marianne (George) Baird of Plymouth, Teresa Mitchell of Abington, Louis Pelaggi (Cynthia) of Raynham, and Mary-Lou (Dennis) of Raynham. She was the sister-in-law to Jean Parkinson of Brockton and Joan Makos of Florida. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Anthony, Skyla, Natalia, Eddie, Antonios, Demetra, Anastassia and Joseph and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Chris graduated from Blue Hills Technical Institute and worked for three decades as a medical secretary at Brockton Hospital, N.E. Sinai and Good Samaritan Hospital. She loved spending time at the ocean, hosting friends and family at her home and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.
Following cremation, all are welcome to calling hours Wed., Jan. 24th from 4-7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, her funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Thurs., Jan. 25th at 11 a.m., memorial Mass at 12 noon at St. Michael Church, 87 N. Main St., Avon and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
