Charlene B. (Sapp) Owens

Charlene B. (Sapp) Owens, 95, of Brockton, passed away on February 7, 2024. Born in Waynesboro, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mamie (Godbee) Sapp. Charlene was an educator for the Brockton Public Schools for many years until her retirement.

Charlene was the beloved mother of Ronald R. Owens of California and the late Jarrett Owens; cherished grandmother of Mystique Owens, Jarrett Owens Jr., SFC John Owens, Lauren Gallant, Kyle Owens, and Nikolas Owens; loving great-grandmother of  Chace and Skyla Owens, Isabella and Isaiah Gallant, Mariah and Tristan Simeone, and the late Torrey Owens; sister of Frances Clemmons of Southfield, Michigan, and many late siblings; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews and their families.

All are welcome to visitation on Fri., February 16th from 10-11 a.m. with an 11 a.m. funeral service at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl St., Brockton.
