Charlene M. (Wurtzburger) Capozzi, 71, of West Wareham, passed away on January 18, 2026. A native of Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Marie A. (Fregeau) Wurtzburger. Charlene worked in medical billing for many years and in the culinary field at Mass Maritime Academy in Bourne, MA. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, thrifting and shopping, but most of all, rooting for the Red Sox with her son Matthew.
Charlene was the cherished mother of Richard E. Capozzi and his wife Cindy of Brockton, and Matthew R. Capozzi of West Wareham; sister of the late Richard "Richie" Wurtzburger, Robert “Bobby” Wurtzburger, and William “Billy” Montgomery; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. Charlene is also survived by her longtime loving boyfriend Raymond Cardoza of West Wareham, and her former husband Americo "Eddie" Capozzi of Carver.
Following cremation, all are welcome to memorial calling hours on Monday, February 2nd from 5-7 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton.
