Casey M. Pittman

Casey M. Pittman, 28, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away on March 6, 2023 from Duchenne muscular dystrophy. He was a 2013 graduate of Brockton High School. Casey was a very patriotic young man, who was knowledgeable on world history, current events, and video games. He was kind and compassionate for those less fortunate despite his own disabilities. Casey was a huge lover of animals and a tea connoisseur like no other.

Casey enjoyed the holidays, especially buying special gifts for his entire family. Casey has been a proud donor for several years to certain rescue committees. Casey's battle with MD threw many obstacles his way. Yet he remained positive and was determined to fight right until the end.

Casey was the beloved son of Constance Pittman (McCumiskey) of Sharon, Paul and Norene Pittman of Brockton; loving brother of Christopher Pittman, Caylee Pittman, Anthony Vieira, Nina Vieira, and Keegan Vieira; loving grandson of Mary Connolly, and the late Mary and Paul Pittman; and a nephew, Uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all.

Main St., Brockton, his funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Monday, March 13th at 9:30 a.m., funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton, and burial at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N.
