Bridie T. (Curran) Swanson

Bridie T. (Curran) Swanson, 88, of Hanson, formerly of Brockton, passed away on June 5, 2026. Born in London, England, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Kathleen (O’Brien) Curran. Bridie worked for American Shoe Shank in Avon for over 35 years until her retirement.

Bridie was the wife of the late Fred W. “Swanny” Swanson; mother of Donnie Hamill and his wife Debbie; stepmother of Fred W. Swanson and his wife Cheryl, Karen Swanson Thiessen, Kristin Nolan and her husband Marty, Kathy Goetsch and her husband Bob, and the late Michael Hamill; and a grandmother and great-grandmother of many.

Private funeral and burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Pembroke.
