Brenda S. Chadwick, 57, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2024 after a lengthy illness with cancer. Born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Charlotte (Werner) McGovern. She met her husband Mark in Rhode Island 37 years ago and they were married a few years later. They have resided in Brockton for the past 20 years.
Brenda was trained in healthcare as a nurse’s aide and personal care attendant. Her main career was as a bus driver for First Student for over 20 years in Brockton. Brenda was a true caretaker, devoted to her family and home and always put others first. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and her cats Willow, Magick and Binx. Brenda was Reiki certified and was a believer in spiritual and holistic healing and was well-versed in herbal medicine. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Brenda was the beloved wife of Mark Chadwick, loving mother of Matthew Chadwick of Brockton and Patrick Chadwick (and Kristy) of Laconia, New Hampshire; dear grandmother of Savannah; sister of Beverly, Karen, Sandra, and the late Collen, Rick and Tim, all of Minnesota; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. Per her wishes no formal service will be held.
