Bonnie A. (Benson) Brunetti

Bonnie A. (Benson) Brunetti, 72, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away on October 25, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Mary (Benton) Benson-Russell and Bernard Benson. Bonnie was a 1969 graduate of Brockton High School and had a lengthy career with the Brockton Enterprise from 1967 until 2014. A former member of the Polish White Eagles, Conte Club, and VFW Post 1046, she was an avid New England Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics fan and enjoyed Cape Cod beach trips. She will be lovingly missed.

Bonnie was the companion of the late Thomas Theodos and wife of the late Ronald Brunetti; beloved mother of Michael A. Brunetti of Brockton; loving sister of Laurie Flaherty and her husband Dan of Brockton, and the late Carey Benson, Glenn Benson, and Jay Benson; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews including Shannon Flaherty, Kelley (Pete) Gutteter, Colleen (Geoff) Cook, Erin (Ryan) McCarthy and their families.

Family and friends are welcome to Bonnie’s celebration of life on Thursday, November 7th from 12-4 p.m. at the Brockton VFW Post 1046, 283 N. Quincy St., Brockton. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Bonnie’s son Michael.
