Beverly J. (Teixeira) “Cookie” Tubbs, 77, of Abington, passed away on November 20, 2018. She was born on June 27, 1941 in New Bedford to the union of the late Irene A. Rose and Domingo Teixeira. Beverly graduated from Wareham High School in 1959. Some of her favorite pastime activities included spending time with family and friends. Beverly enjoyed baking, cooking, outdoor activities and traveling. She also enjoyed going to church and, most of all, serving the public. Beverly was the beloved mother of Rhonda I. Frazier and her husband Kirby d. Frazier of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, Jonniann Croft of Massachusetts, Robin D. Smith of Matthews, North Carolina, April L. Angelo and her husband Nicholas Angelo of Stoughton, Elzy B. Tubbs III and his wife Dawn Martin Tubbs of Marshfield, and Richard D. Tubbs and his wife Tammy Tubbs of Weeki Wachee, FL; sister of Domingo “Boy” Teixeira of Mashpee and Robert Teixeira of Marion; grandmother of Kenneth A. Kirk II, Whitney A. Frazier, Parris A. Croft, John L. Jenkins Jr., Cori L. Goncalves, Cecil L. Smith III, Christian L. Smith, Ashley N. Goss, Ava R. Angelo, and Joseph R. Angelo; great-grandmother of 10. Beverly is also survived by a host of extended family and friends. All are welcome to gather on Tues., Nov. 27th at 10 a.m. for an 11 a.m. memorial service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton.
