Obituary

Beverly J. (Davidson) (Daly) Horton, 91, of Halifax, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2023. Born in Bellows Falls, Vermont, native of Charlestown, New Hampshire, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lucia (Finn) Davidson. Raised in Brockton, she resided there until moving to West Bridgewater in 1988, then moved to Halifax in 2004 to be closer to her son.

Beverly worked at Wind Welting in the Campello section of Brockton for many years, then later worked part-time as a receptionist at St. Joseph Manor in Brockton until her retirement. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and movies.

Beverly was the wife of the late William R. Daly and William F. Horton; beloved mother of William R. Daly and his wife Helen (Webby) of Halifax; loving grandmother of Mark Daly and his wife Jessica (Lewis) of NJ and Michael Daly and his husband John Zagrodny of Kingston; stepmother of Robert Horton of TN, Scott Horton of CT, and Valerie Horton of NH; step grandmother of many; sister of the late Joyce Davidson, Russell Davidson, and Virginia King; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.

A private funeral was held at Waitt Funeral Home and burial was at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton.
