Beverly A. (Clark) Bridges

Beverly A. (Clark) Bridges, 74, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2026. A native of Charlestown, daughter of the late Thomas H. and Helen A. (Francis) Clark, she graduated from Charlestown High School in 1970. She moved to Brockton in 1977, where she planted her roots and made many lasting connections.

She was a dedicated clinical lab assistant at Brockton Hospital for close to 30 years until retiring. Her positive and happy attitude was infectious, as she made everyone feel like family and was a second mom to her children’s friends. She was active and enjoyed trips to the casino, playing bingo, and breakfast outings with her hospital friends. She also enjoyed her scratch tickets.

Beverly was the beloved wife of Stephen E. Bridges Sr. for 55 years; loving mother of Kerriann Bridges Ciavattone (Wayne) of Brockton and Stephen E. Bridges Jr. (Michelle) of Clearwater, FL; dear grandmother of Stephen E. Bridges III (Kelsie), Darrien Gustafson, Jalen Bridges (Daija), Jack Ciavattone, and Ella Bridges (Jeremiah); great-grandmother of Aria, Alenie, Brayden, and Luca Bridges; sister of Mary L. Settlers, and the late Thomas Clark, William “Billy” Clark, and Paul “Buddy” Clark; and an aunt of many generations of nieces and nephews. Beverly also leaves numerous cherished friends who will miss her dearly.

As Beverly always said… “I love you a bushel and peck”, “good comes to good”, and “be safe”.
