Barbara J. (Sliney) Kelley, 67, of Brockton since 1977, passed away on November 8, 2021. Born in Jamaica Plain and raised in West Roxbury, she was a daughter of the late Ronald and Claire (McIsaac) Sliney. Barbara was a graduate of St. Clare’s High School in Roslindale and had worked as a secretary for the registry of deeds in Boston until 1977.
Barbara was the beloved wife of William T. Kelley Jr. for 45 years; loving sister of Maureen Sliney of North Attleboro, Kathy Stokes and her husband Richard of Tewksbury, and the late Patti Leonard; sister-in-law of Barbara A. Greenwood and her husband John of Falmouth, and Stephen G. Kelley and his wife Kathleen of Wrentham; and an aunt and great-aunt of many.
All are welcome to calling hours Mon., Nov. 15th from 4-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Tues., Nov. 16th at 8:30 a.m., funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa Avila Catholic Church, 2078 Centre St., West Roxbury and burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
