Augereau Bazile, 98, of Brockton, passed away on March 30, 2025. Born in Petit- Goâve, Haiti, he was the son of the late Philippe and Naomie (Joseph) Bazile. He immigrated to the United States in 1983, settling in Brockton where he lived happily surrounded by his family and friends.
Augereau was devoted to his faith and was a longtime communicant of Christ the King Parish. He was sharp minded and was a successful accountant for many years until his retirement. In his later years, Augereau enjoyed family time and playing solitaire daily.
Augereau was the husband of the late Jacqueline (Belizaire) Bazile; loving father of Mr. Joseph Fritz Bazile and Family, Mr. Enrick Bazile and Family, Mrs. Marie José Bazile and Family, Mr. Philippe Bazile and Family, Mrs. Rodly B. Andre and Family, Mrs. Marie Myrtho B. Bonhomme and Family, Mr. Caius Bazile and Family, Mrs. Sandra B. Levasseur and family, Mrs. Berthe Bazile and Family, Mrs. Marie Carmelle Bazile and family, Mr. Jean Roland Bazile and Family, Mrs. Paulette Bazile and Family, and Mr. Marko Bazile and Family, and the late Mr. Ronald Bazile; cherished grandfather and great-grandfather of Cassandra Nelson, Fritz W. A. Bazile, Christopher M. Bazile, Esther E. Bazile, Isaac Bazile, Nathan Bazile, Jamar Bazile, Arlex Bonhomme, Joshua Bonhomme, Elizabeth Bonhomme, Britney Bazile, Alexandra Bazile, Caus Junior Bazile, Noah Bazile, Cynthia Andre, Ashley Andre, Randy Bazile, Armani Bazile, Jonathan Levasseur, Sidney Levasseur, David Levasseur, Rony F. Bazile, Robinson Bazile, Refus Bazile, Lidy Bazile, Marcho Tanir Dottin Bazile, Mariah Bazile, Marcha Bazile, Hayley Bazile, and Maddison Bazile. Augereau also leaves many additional family members who loved him dearly.
Family and friends are welcome to his viewing on Saturday, April 12th from 8-9:30 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Church, 87 N. Main St., Avon and burial at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl St., Brockton. Live streaming of Augereau’s funeral will be available.
