Ashley Monique Jessamy

Ashley Monique Jessamy entered our orbit like a blazing meteorite on
April 1, 1989. Her mother, Roxene Jessamy was determined not to have
an April Fool’s baby, but alas, her father, Vere Jessamy won the bet!
Her brother, Ian Francis was ten years old when she was born and he
thought he had a new toy to play with. In 1992 the family moved to
Randolph and they welcomed the youngest daughter Ivana in
November and the house was full.
Ashley had a lot of interests and liked to explore all of her options,
whether it was dental school or hair school, Ashley gracefully dived into
her dreams with no fear.
Ashley was often the life of the party and was known for her outgoing
personality, determination, Go-Getter attitude and hard work ethic.
She wanted what she wanted and heaven help anything that stood in
her way. Those of us who knew and loved Ashley probably have a funny
story about “Remember the time Ashley did such and such”?
In 2012 Ashley was blessed with the beautiful experience of
motherhood. Her son Amani Jessamy was born on May 8 th of that year
and he is now nine years old. For Ashley, life itself had new meaning.
Watching him grow was her heart. Hearing him call her mom was her
smile. Ashley was building a world for her son. If you know him, then
you know that his mom was his favorite superhero!
During this time, we are here to comfort her family, share stories and
remember Ashley who left us too soon on May 29, 2021. We are here
to cherish our love for her as our beloved daughter, loving mother to
Amani and forever sister to all of her siblings. May Ashley rest forever
in the peace of God and may the universe welcome her home.

All are welcome to Ashley's Celebration of Life on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, with visitation in the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m. Private committal. Live streaming of Ashley's service will be available.
