Annemarie Cecile (Errie) Edmond

Anne-Marie Cecile (Errie) Edmond, 91, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on May 7, 2021. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and Carmelite (Naudin) Errie. She was devoted to her home and raising her children and continued showering that same attention and affection to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as years passed. Anne-Marie was “a mother to all” and kind to anyone she met. Anne-Marie was generous with her love and time. She enjoyed cooking large meals for family and friends and celebrating the birthdays of others. She was a longtime communicant of Christ the King Parish.

Anne-Marie was the wife of the late Jean Gerard Edmond; beloved mother of Jean Denis Garry Edmond and his wife Rolande, Andre Alix Edmond and his wife Marie-Jose, Marie Judith Edmond-LaLanne and her husband Eddy P., Nancie Edmond-Poteau and her husband Richard, Gerard Lourdes Edmond, Marie Cecile Edmond-Millien and her husband Jean R., and the late Jean Ruddy Edmond and his widow Myrlande G.; cherished grandmother of Regine Edmond, Gaelle Edmond and her husband Lucas Nascimento, Stanley Edmond, Jonathan Edmond, Kareinine Edmond, Consolisa Edmond, Carmsley Edmond, Rudjerry Edmond and his wife Bertrude, Medjine Edmond, Rudolph LaLanne and his wife Margareth, Bradley LaLanne and his wife Alexandra, Kimberly LaLanne, Rachide Poteau, Kathleen Poteau, Nancia Poteau, Sabrina Millien, Melissa Millien, and Dania Millien; loving great-grandmother of Marissa LaLanne, Isabelle LaLanne, Adrian LaLanne, Jaylen LaLanne, Nyzier LaLanne, Jerrissa Edmond, Rudianna Edmond, Azayah Nascimento, and Amayah Nascimento. Anne-Marie also leaves many additional family members and friends.

All are welcome to walk-through calling hours on Friday, May 21st from 6-9 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral from Waitt Funeral Home on Saturday, May 22nd at 8 a.m., her funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton and burial at Melrose Cemetery.
