Anne Marie (Lipus) Daxberger, 77, of Brockton, passed away March 21, 2024. Born in Wentorf, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Leopold and Anny (Smievoll) Lipus. Anne came to the United States at the age of 5 to Randolph Massachusetts where she was raised and graduated high school in 1964.
She worked as a manager for two drycleaner locations, Woodlawn and Dependable Cleaners. In her free time Anne enjoyed to garden, visit the beach, knit, join her many friends in trips to the casinos or to play bingo and was an avid reader in a book club. She also enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley.
Anne was the wife of the late William W. Daxberger; loving mother of Richard Cogliano (and Maria) of West Barnstable, Lisa Cogliano of Brockton, Laura Cuthbert (and Patrick) of Stoughton; grandmother of Allison, Nicholas and Samuel Cogliano; sister of Irene Freeman (and Shawn) of North Port FL and Harry Lipus (and Patsy) of Raynham; aunt of Chelsea, Erik, Michael, Christina, and Daxberger nieces and nephews; a cousin to many here in the United States and in Norway; grandmother to her grand-cats Ava and Olivia; and she leaves behind many friends to mourn her passing.
Per Anne’s request there are no services. Those wishing, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to American Cancer Society.
