Anne-Marie Etienne, 78, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2020. Born in Les Cayes, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Dulence Etienne and Inoncia Jean-Baptiste. Anne-Marie was a successful businesswoman, having owned a successful store in Haiti for many years. She was a strong, hard working woman who loved to help others and enjoyed spending time with her family. Anne-Marie was the beloved mother of Louis Thersono of Florida, Jasmine Etienne-Labossiere of Brockton, and Marie-Ange Thevenin of Brockton; loving grandmother of Joey Thevenin, Angela Thevenin, Samantha Thevenin, Jovan Thevenin, Jomari Thevenin, Emily Labossiere, Elayja Thersono, Cambren Thersono and Laila-Rose Thersono: Anne-Marie was the second oldest of 8 kids and loving sister of Lumas Etienne of Florida, Carole Etienne of Florida, Luce Etienne of Haiti, and the late Marianne Etienne, Fequiere Etienne, Fredo Etienne and Rose Etienne. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, especially her niece Johanne Duplessy who was like a daughter. She will be missed by all who knew her, including the Hilaire, Labossiere and Thevenin Families. All are welcome to her viewing on Friday, November 20th from 9-10a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton and burial at Melrose Cemetery.
