AnnMarie D. (Aylward) Killory, 71, of Brockton, passed away peacefully after an unexpected injury with her husband by her side on July 16, 2022. Born in Boston, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Lucille (Marquis) Aylward. AnnMarie was a graduate of Braintree High School. She was also a badass mom, aunt, mamae, and of course dog-mom. AnnMarie worked in retail and healthcare, and recently retired to work on her home with her husband of over half a century, Michael.
AnnMarie had an amazing sense of humor, a heart bigger than Alaska, and a keep-it-real personality. These are three of many reasons she will be missed dearly. AnnMarie loved her husband and adored her children Darcie and Michael Joseph with every ounce of her being, and boy oh boy did she spoil her grandson Jay and Jack Russell Terrier (Oscar Meyer). She also enjoyed reading and gardening.
AnnMarie was the beloved wife of Michael J. Killory III; loving mother of Darcie A. Killory and Michael J. Killory IV; cherished grandmother of Jay David Killory, who was like a son to her; sister of Diane Kearns, Walter “Wally” Aylward III, James Richard “Sonny” Aylward Jr., and Mark “Marko” Aylward; and an aunt of several nieces and nephews, including Nicole McCaffrey and Jimmy Aylward.
All are welcome to her memorial service Thurs., July 28th at 6 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton, with visitation in the funeral home beginning at 5 p.m. Private burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
