Ann M. (Burbank) Curtis

Ann M. (Burbank) Curtis, 73, of Holbrook, passed away on October 17, 2025. Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Elaine (Lyons) Burbank. Ann was dedicated to her career in healthcare, working for 33 years as a certified nursing assistant and activities coordinator at Champion Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brockton, the former Embassy House, until her retirement. Ann enjoyed playing bingo and trips to the casino and was a fan of Betty Boop and Michael Bolton. She loved crocheting, especially creating beautiful blankets for family and friends to enjoy.

Ann was the wife of the late John W. Curtis; loving mother of Michelle A. LaBlue of Brockton, Tammy M. Curtis of Holbrook, Tina M. Curtis of Fall River, and Richard J. Curtis of Holbrook; cherished grandmother and great-grandmother of many; sister of James Burbank of Attleboro and the late Edward Burbank; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. Ann also leaves her beloved cat Lucky.

A celebration of Ann’s life will be held on Thursday, October 30th from 4-8 p.m. at American Legion Post 112, 1027 Washington St., Abington, MA 02351, with a small ceremony from 4–4:30 p.m. Food will be served following the service and people may come and go as they please.
