Andrea (Fay) Hardigan

Andrea (Fay) Hardigan, 87, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton for many years, passed away peacefully at home on December 22, 2025 surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late John F. Fay and Cora (Campbell) Fay, she was raised in South Boston and Dorchester. Andrea graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School in South Boston. She studied voice at the Boston Conservatory of Music in her youth and had an amazing voice. It was a lifelong passion she shared with her siblings and family. She was the wife of the late Laurence Hardigan with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. Andrea was dedicated to her family and home. She had a keen knowledge of art and antiques, which she learned over many years of collecting, buying and selling. It was a passion she shared with her husband Laurence. Andrea also loved to garden and enjoyed her gardens at home.
Andrea was the beloved mother of Alan Hardigan and his wife Julia, Lisa Hardigan-Proverb and her husband Richard, Glen Hardigan and AnnMcGuire, and Corinne Poliseno and her husband Robert, loving grandmother of Kenneth, Patrick, Samantha, Katherine, Anthony, Rachel and Angela, great-grandmother of Erin, Mackenzie, Madison, Everett and Liam, sister of Madeleine Mulvihill and her husband James, the late Corinne Dick and her husband Allan, John Fay and his wife Maureen and Bernadine Calabrese and her husband Charles, and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to calling hours Friday January 2nd, 2026 from 4 to 7 p.m. and her funeral service Saturday January 3rd at 10:30 a.m. all at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
