Ana E. “Betty” (Sifontes) (Parsons) Johnson, 70, of Brockton, passed away July 9, 2021. Daughter of the late Natalia (Sifontes) Rivera (who passed June 10, 2021 on Betty’s birthday), Carmelo Rivera and Antonio Cruz, she was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador. She was retired from Brockton MultiService Center as a social worker. Betty enjoyed arts and crafts, photography, comics and cartoons, driving her Mustang fast, and watching sports, especially boxing. She doted on her mother, and they enjoyed dining together, gardening, and trips back home to El Salvador. Dedicated to family, Betty was the beloved mother of Matthew C. Parsons of Abington and the late Claiborne M. Parsons, loving grandmother of Heather E. Parsons and Danielle J. Parsons; sister of Myriam Cruz of Brockton, and stepsister of Raymond Rivera of Cambridge and Martin Rivera of Saugus.
All are welcome to her calling hours Friday July 16th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, her funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Saturday July 17th at 9 a.m., and her funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Edith Stein Church, 71 East Main St., Brockton.
