Alina Dasse, 84, of New Bedford, formerly of Brockton, passed away on February 1, 2026. Born in Saint-Jean-du-Sud, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Andre Dasse and Dieusina Vital. Alina was hardworking and dedicated to her family and home, working in agriculture for many years. She was also a savvy businesswoman. Her life was deeply rooted in faith and she enjoyed daily prayer. She was active and loved attending church and family gatherings.
Alina was the beloved mother of Roseline Charles Eugene and her husband Yves Eugene of Jacksonville, FL, Mireille Charles Pierre and her husband Moïse Pierre of Jacksonville, FL, Junette Charles Semé and her husband Julien Semé of New Bedford, Pierre J. Pilorge and his late wife Dianne Pilorge of Everett, Jean Jasmail Pilorge and his wife Natacha Pilorge of Winchester, and the late Joseph Lifaite Charles; cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren Maelle Eugene, Maeva Eugene, Marva Pilorge, Alexander Pilorge, Victoria Pilorge, Arianna Pilorge, Kayla Pilorge, Kylie Pilorge, Jasmail Noah Pilorge, Jayden Pilorge, Gims Semé, and Nikela Semé. Alina also leaves many additional dear family and friends to mourn her passing.
All are welcome to her viewing on Saturday, February 14th from 8-9:30 a.m., followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral service at Brockton Church of God, 80 Pleasant St., Brockton. Entombment to follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West St., Braintree. Live streaming of Alina’s funeral will be available.
