Alfred E. Audette, 86, of Brockton, died September 19, 2022 at home under the care of hospice and his daughter Anne. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Beatrice (Brosseau) and Jean Louis Audette and stepson of the late Blanche Bourgeois. He was a machinist at Walworth in Braintree for many years. Alfred enjoyed fishing, and woodcutting and tending to his fire.
Alfred was the father of David Audette (Laurie) of Texas, Ellen Vaughan (David) of Oklahoma, Anne Audette of Brockton, and the late Andrew Audette; grandfather of William C. Wyatt Jr. of Tennessee, twins Melissa Vaughan of Oklahoma and Ryan Vaughan of Connecticut, Noelle Audette of Rhode Island, and the late Sarah Audette; brother of the late Normand Audette, Roger Audette, Irene Sardinha-Medeiros, Lillian Rioux, and Normand Fontaine; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, all are welcome to calling hours Sun., Oct. 2nd from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m., followed by a 12 p.m. memorial service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 N. Main St., Brockton.
