Yvette E. (Bogdanoff) Goodwin

Yvette E. “Betty” “Petty” (Bogdanoff) Goodwin, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on September 20, 2018. Yvette retired as a switchboard operator from Eastern Utilities at the age of 80, after 43 years there. She enjoyed socializing with different kinds of people and spending many good times with her family. She was deeply devoted to her faith. Yvette was the wife of the late Nelson E. Goodwin; beloved mother of Carol A. Hoy and her husband Richard of Quincy, Cathy A. Goodwin of Brockton, and the late Nelson E. Goodwin Jr.; loving grandmother of Jennifer N. Milton and her husband Sean of West Bridgewater and Jacqueline N. Goodwin of Whitman; great-grandmother of Nicole, Emma and Olivia Milton; sister of the late Dolly Goodis, and Frank and Albert Bogdanoff; sister-in-law of Helen Bogdanoff; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Sunday, Sept. 23rd from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., followed by a 1 p.m. service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private committal. Memorial gifts may be made to your favorite charity.
