Wilfredo Torres

Wilfredo Torres, 67, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on August 2, 2018. Born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Leonardo and Hilda Maria (Colón) Torres. Wilfredo had worked for Cole Hersee for 45 years. A jack of all trades, he loved nature and spending time outdoors. He was an active church member and was generous, helping anyone in need. Wilfredo was the beloved husband of Mirta (Melendez) Torres for 48 years; loving father of Rosa E. Perrino and her husband Scott of Rhode Island, Willie Torres and his wife Raquel of Brockton, and Karen Torres of Rhode Island; dear grandfather of 8; great-grandfather of 6; brother of Virgenmina, Carlos J., Damaris, Carmen, Leonor, Wanda, José and Maria Nilza Torres; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Sunday 4-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral service Monday at 10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
