Vana Neptune, 82, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 28, 2019. Born in Aux Cayes, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Rousseau Neptune and Melila Mezena. Vana was the beloved mother of Michel Neptune, Florence (Pierre Louis) Desir and her husband Jean-Claude Desir of Brockton, and the late Patrick Neptune, Stelanie Neptune, Sevelila Chery, and Melanie Neptune; loving grandmother of Thajhea Desir, Tyhisia Desir, Christina Desir, Mirliene Neptune, Maxime Neptune, Daphne Neptune, Virginia Neptune, Dimy Neptune, Stevenson Neptune, Stanley Neptune, Widline Neptune, and Shirley Neptune; dear sister of Escot Chery, Marie-Theresa Mezena, and Bertrand Mezena; and a cousin of Anne Saint-George. She loved attending church service and was a member of Brockton Church of God for many years. Devoted to her family, she enjoyed cooking, cleaning and sewing. Vana will be deeply missed by her family. All are welcome to her funeral service Saturday, Sept. 7th at 9 a.m. in Brockton Church of God, 80 Pleasant St., Brockton with visitation in the church beginning at 8 a.m. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery.
