Thomas "Trey" Matta III

Thomas T. “Trey” Matta III, 59, of Taunton, native of Brockton, died April 23, 2019. Trey had worked in carpet installation and landscaping for many years. He enjoyed watching sports and playing chess. He will be greatly missed and forever loved. Trey was the beloved husband of Mildred Matta for over 30 years; loving father of Ashley and Amanda; devoted “Papa” of Dakotah, Makenzie, and Michael; son of Thomas T. Matta Jr. and his wife Tomi of Clearwater, FL, and the late Harriet (Norton) Matta; brother of Debra Matta, Dean Matta (and Diane), and Brian Matta (and Jane); and an uncle of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to memorial calling hours Monday, May 6th from 4-7 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private committal.
