Thomas P. Hayward, 25, of Avon, passed away suddenly at his home on January 20, 2018. Thomas was a gentle soul with a big heart for animals. He loved spending time with his lifelong Freeman Street friends and enjoyed visiting New Hampshire for the Highland Games with his family to celebrate his Scottish heritage. He also enjoyed playing the drums like his uncle Stephen. Thomas had the warmest brown eyes and was loved by his many friends for his great sense of humor and smile that could light up a room. An avid gamer, he loved all things Star Wars, Star Trek and Lord of the Rings. He was also a sports fan, he especially loved the New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots. Thomas was the beloved son of Thomas F. Hayward Jr. of Avon and Lisa Ochoa of Quincy; the cherished grandson of Elizabeth and Thomas F. Hayward Sr. of Avon; nephew of Gary Hayward and Leanne of Brockton, Stephen Hayward and Erin of Lakeville, Pamela Lunedei of Lakeville and Daniel Lunedei Jr. of Bourne; step-brother of Danny, John, Veronica and Ann; uncle of Jimi; close cousin of Adam, Ryan and Alyvia; and a great-nephew of many. He is also survived by his cat Bella, who will miss him dearly. All are welcome to calling hours Thursday 9-11 a.m., 11 a.m. funeral service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton and burial at Avon Cemetery.
