Teresa S. Pereira, 95, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2020. Born in Fogo, Cabo Verde on January 4, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Joaquim Aquino Pereira and Maria DaSilva. Teresa was the beloved mother of Joaquim Silva Andrade and his wife Christine DaSylva of Brockton, and Marie Therese Dalouche and her husband Orlando of Kissimmee, FL; loving grandmother of Thielindo Andrade, Thessa Andrade, Patrick Dalouche, Maxime Dalouche, Orlando Dalouche Jr., and Steven Dalouche; sister of the late Amelia Aquino Pereira, Ernestina Correia, Balbina Mendes, and Clara Aquino Pereira; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. She worked at F.B. Washburn Candy for many years until her retirement. Teresa was devoted to her family and loved cooking large traditional meals for them. A woman of great faith, she was often found reading the Holy Bible. She was a great dancer and enjoyed hosting yearly birthday parties where family and friends gathered to celebrate an exceptional life well lived. Teresa will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
