Shirley A. (Rhue) Noel, 91, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2017. A longtime member of St. Paul’s Parish, Brockton, she was a devoted mom and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching the Red Sox, knitting, crocheting, reading, shopping, the beach, and having tea with her friend Marge. Shirley was the wife of the late Raymond Noel; beloved mother of Mary Mansbach (and Kurt) of Marshfield, Patricia Moynihan (and Brian) of Raynham, Virginia Smith (and William) of Marshfield, John Noel (and David Pratt) of Marlborough, CT, Thomas Noel (and Angela) of Taunton, and the late Stephen Noel; loving grandmother of Peter Eagles, Paul Eagles, Sean Moynihan, Kevin Moynihan, Greg Mansbach, Amanda Noel, Annalee Noel and Trent Noel; great-grandmother of Emma, Piper and Grace; sister of the late Eleanor Doonan and Burt Rhue; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Wednesday at 9 a.m., funeral service at 10 a.m. in St. Paul’s Parish, 701 Pleasant Street, Brockton and burial at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
