Sandra Ann (Raymondi) Gaudiano, 78, a longtime resident of Brockton, native of Quincy, entered this world on May 27, 1941 and was born to eternal life on January 11, 2020 surrounded by her devoted son James Gaudiano Jr. and granddaughter Corina Gaudiano. She was the wife of the late James Gaudiano Sr. and daughter of the late Henry and Quirena Raymondi. Sandra was the niece of Eleanor (Pinzare) Paquette. She also leaves a daughter Michele Clarke and her husband Gary and their daughters Melanie and Catie Clarke; sister Judith Scarry; Godchild and niece Melissa Scarry-Contrino and her husband Vincent and their children Gianna and Zaio; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Sandra was most proud to be a member of the Class of 1954, who graduated from St. John’s School in Quincy, with a group of 12 ladies who meet periodically and continue to be a close knit group, her “Forever Friends”. She was also a 1958 graduate of Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree, 1961 graduate of Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing, and attended Bridgewater State College.
Sandra’s womanly manner masked the raw grit and rare fortitude, which she exhibited during her life. She will be remembered for her empathetic and sympathetic nature. If you knew her, you were entertained, amused and comforted. One of her longtime friends, Sally, tagged her “The Energizer Bunny”. Sandra was a member of the Mayor’s Woman Commission, Democratic Ward 6 and City Committee, BPW, Co-President of the 20th Century Catholic Club and the Brockton Council on Aging. Sandra was involved for many years in city, state, and county political campaigns. She was a political activist for the people of Ward 6 in matters of conservation and construction. Sandra was a mentor to young people since 1984 and encouraged them to join the political arena. She had many interest and hobbies, including politics, traveling, golfing, bowling, gardening, and cribbage.

Main St., Brockton, her funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Friday at 9:30 a.m., funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, then reception. Cremation and private committal.
