Ronald M. Green, 88, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died January 1, 2018. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Whitman VFW Post 697. Ronald was employed by Bay State Gas for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and sports, and was also a member of the Protectors and Conte Clubs. Ronald was the husband of the late Mary (Urbanowicz) Green; beloved father of Maryellen Johnson (and Bruce), Brenda Green (and Mark Nicol and his son Alex), and Dawn Olshansky (and John), all of Brockton; dear brother of Lois Gary of Raynham, Arthur Green of Brooks, Maine, and the late Harry (and Jean) and Sarah Green; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his best pet friend, Frankie. All are welcome to calling hours Saturday 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., followed by a 1 p.m. service in Belcher Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private burial.
