Ronald R. Duff, 85, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away peacefully Jan. 5, 2019. Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Helen (Krafton) Duff and Donald Duff. He graduated from Brockton High School in 1952 and served in the U.S. Naval Reserves from 1952 to 1960. Ron was a machinist by trade and then was a security guard since 1974 at the Howard Johnson plant. He enjoyed hunting as a young man and had been a small-engine pilot and member A.O.P.A. Ron is survived by five children: Linda Duff (and Tom Mannix) of Norton, Kathleen Mazzoni of Middleboro, Ronald Duff Jr. and his wife Leigh of Brockton, Gene Duff, USAF Ret. of Georgia, and Timothy Duff of Easton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Ron was the father of the late Gerard Duff, Michael Duff and Diana Duff; husband of the late Deborah (Bilunas) Duff and brother of the late Lorraine (Duff) Stork. All are welcome to calling hours Wednesday Jan. 9th from 4-6 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton. Cremation and private burial.
