Robert J. McNeill

Robert J. McNeill, 74, of Abington since 2002, formerly of Brockton, passed away on November 11, 2018. A native of Cambridge, he was a graduate of Waltham High School and later earned a certificate in blueprinting from Wentworth Institute. Robert had worked for Polaroid for over 30 years and then at Symmons for 16 years until retirement. A member of Holbrook Sportsmen’s Club and former member of Bridgewater Lions Club, he enjoyed fishing, dancing, and his grand-dogs. Robert was the beloved husband of Rosie (DiPhillipo) McNeill for 48 years; loving father of Kelly Adams (and David) of West Bridgewater, Dana McNeill (and Todd Hayes) of Westport, and Scott McNeill (and Susan Sirop) of Westport; dear grandfather of Abigail and Eva Adams, and Isaac and Taylor Hayes. All are welcome to calling hours Thurs., Nov. 15th from 3-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral service Fri., Nov. 16th at 10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
