Perpetus St. Cilien, 82, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2018. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he was the son of the late Clement St. Cilien and Ida Paul. Perpetus was a former deacon of his church for many years. He was also a talented carpenter by trade. Perpetus was the beloved father of Ginette St. Cilien and her husband Jean Anel Deverze of Georgia, Evelyn St. Cilien and her husband Jean Eval Edouarzin of Brockton and Anthony St. Cilien and his wife Neomi of Georgia; loving grandfather of Michael, Nicholson, Jovan, Alexander and Aliyah; dear brother of Marie Marthe St. Cilien, Laventure St. Cilien, Anne Marie St. Cilien and the late Marie Noemie St. Cilien; uncle of Olrich Lebrun, Roseline Lebrun, Gerson St. Cilien, Marie Carmelle Petit, Yolette Lange, Marlene St. Cilien, Patrick St. Cilien, Tracy St. Cilien, Rebecca St. Cilien, Joel St. Cilien, Yardley St. Cilien, Nathaniel St. Cilien, Joel Sylvain and the late Daniel and Windsor Lebrun. Perpetus also leaves many additional extended family and friends. All are welcome to calling hours Thursday, February 15th from 7-9 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral service Friday, February 16th at 9 a.m. in the Haitian Assembly of God, 204 Court St., Brockton, Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery.
