Paul R. Mulloy, 82, of Brockton, passed away on April 1, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital after being injured in a fire at home. Born in South Boston, a son of the late Thomas and Alice (Carey) Mulloy, he served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959. Paul was retired from employment as an automobile mechanic and salesman for many years on the South Shore. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, reading and going to the movies; he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Paul was the beloved husband of Louise A. (Dionne) Mulloy for over 59 years; loving father of Kathlyne Mulloy and her husband David Lowe, John Robert Mulloy and his wife Michelle McNally Mulloy, Kristyn Mulloy, Karen Mulloy and the late Kellee Ann Jones; and the devoted grandfather of Jaron, Davante, Marquel, Nadjia and Anjolie Jones and Adam Mulloy; he leaves a sister, brothers, nieces and nephews. All are welcome to his memorial Mass Wednesday at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes, 439 West St. Brockton. (Private cremation and committal.) In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
