Patrick Thomas Hurley, 78, of Brockton, passed away peacefully June 17, 2017. Native of Mission Hill, Boston, he was a son of the late Mary and Allen Hurley and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1958 to 1961. He was retired from H.C. Starck Inc. in Newton after 33 years there. Pat enjoyed traveling, especially to Ireland and Canada; swimming at the Brockton YMCA; and watching sports. Patrick was the husband of the late Maureen C. (Moynihan) Hurley for 50 years; beloved father of Thomas P. Hurley of Brockton and the late Michael A. Hurley; loving grandfather of Danielle, Steven, and Jennifer Hurley and Michael Caruso; brother of John Hurley of Falmouth, Mary Todd of Boston and the late Al and Louie Hurley; and an uncle of many. All are welcome to calling hours Wednesday 4-7 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, his funeral Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from Waitt Funeral Home, funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Ann’s Church, West Bridgewater and burial at Pine Hill Cemetery.
