Oreste Millien

Oreste Millien, 83, of Brockton, passed away January 30, 2018. Born in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti, he was the son of the late Zulema Valcin and Omeris Millien. He was a skilled mechanic by trade. Oreste was the beloved husband of Marie “Camoute” Millien; loving father of Claudy, Guerda, Loubert, Sabine, Rose Shella, Marco, Nancy and the late Gilbert Millien; grandfather of Stephen, Alyvia, Cliff, Calvin, Crawford, Claudy Jr., Joubert, Stephan, Jonas, Francesca, Briyanna, Jhovanny, and Loudmiya; great-grandfather of Amaré; brother of Viengeli Millien, Marie Camene Millien, Lionel Louine, and Fritz Louine; and an uncle and cousin of many. Oreste was predeceased by his siblings Jacques Louine, Laurette Millien, Acefié Millien, and Rosette Louine. All are welcome to calling hours Friday 6-9 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Saturday at 8 a.m., funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton and burial at Melrose Cemetery.
