Nancy R. (Blackwell) Sherwood

Nancy R. (Blackwell) Sherwood, 66, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died unexpectedly on September 16, 2018 at Boston Medical Center, after a brief illness. Nancy was a mom, wife, and friend to many, her smile and humor were infectious. She always had a kind word or hug for those who needed it and will be deeply missed. Nancy was the beloved daughter of Ruth (Campy) Blackwell of Brockton and the late Waldo E. Blackwell; loving wife of Mark A. Sherwood for 30 years; dear mother of Crystal Pelland, Heather Mullen and her husband Thomas, and Phillip Sherwood; and grandmother of Gabrielle Pelland, James Pelland, Rosealicia Pelland and Thomas Mullen Jr. All are welcome to Nancy’s celebration of life on Saturday, Sept. 22nd at 1 p.m. at Bickford’s Grille, 37 Oak St. Ext., Brockton. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
