Mildred A. (Bresnahan) Gionfriddo, 76, of Brockton, passed away on July 3, 2018. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Mildred (Reidy) Bresnahan. Mildred was the matriarch of her family in the truest sense of the word, her entire life revolved around her children and grandchildren. She loved gardening and tending to her pond, and also enjoyed arts and crafts. Mildred was the wife of the late James C. Gionfriddo Sr.; beloved mother of Tina McQuiggan of Brockton and her late husband Stanley, Lisa Pariseau and her husband Scott of Brockton, James Gionfriddo and his wife Teresa of North Port, FL, and Anthony Gionfriddo and his wife Jennifer King of Brockton; loving grandmother of Stacie, Sean, Christopher, Ashley, Stephanie, Alissa, Scottie Jr., Vincent, Shanda-Rose, Kristina, Angelina, and Anthony Jr.; great-grandmother of Julianna, Jayda, Jaylynn, Jayleana, Payton, Rylie, Avalynn, Nayleen, and Neacko Jr.; sister of Wayne Bresnahan of Quincy, Kenneth Bresnahan of Weymouth, and the late Donald “Tex” Bresnahan; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Saturday, July 7th from 1-3 p.m., followed by a 3 p.m. service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private committal.
