Michael F. Sprague Jr., 27, of Brockton, died on Christmas morning, December 25, 2016 of a heroin overdose, after a long hard battle with addiction. Mike was a 2007 graduate of Brockton High School and a member of Teamsters Union Local #25. An avid sports and New England Patriots fan, he enjoyed playing football and Brockton Youth Hockey. He was also a dedicated MMA and boxing trainer. Mike loved reading, working out and spending time with his friends. The most important thing to him was his family and his love and humor will live on forever through them. Michael was the beloved son of Michael F. Sprague Sr. of Brockton and Lisa Marie (Casarano) Sprague of Whitman; loving brother of Rachel and Jake Sprague of Whitman; dear grandson of Mary “Dolly” Sprague of Brockton and the late Kenneth P. Sprague Sr., and Rosemarie Reppucci of Bridgewater and the late Nicholas M. Casarano; and a cherished nephew, cousin and friend of many.
