Marie E. (Valentin) Bertrand

Marie E. (Valentin) Bertrand, 94, of Avon, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2018. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Ismael and Anna (Benjamin) Valentin. Marie owned a clothing boutique in Haiti for many years, before immigrating to the U.S. She was deeply devoted to her family and home. Marie was the wife of the late Rossini Bertrand; beloved mother of 6 daughters: Gilda Bertrand, Nelia Bertrand, Anna LaRoche, Rose Marie Bertrand, Marie Lourdes Bertrand, and Edith Barthelemy; loving grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of 9. Marie also leaves many dear extended family and friends. All are welcome to her funeral service Friday, May 4th at 10 a.m. in Temple Adventiste De Brockton, 237 Court St., Brockton. Viewing in the church beginning at 8 a.m. Burial to follow at Central Cemetery, Randolph.
