Lorraine C. (LoRusso) Heffernan, 88, of Avon, passed away Jan. 16, 2020. She was the wife of the late Paul T. Heffernan. Native of Boston, she was retired from the MBTA Credit Union after a long career there and formerly at Boston Edison Credit Union. Lorraine was a past president of V.F.W. Post 8892 Ladies Auxiliary of Avon. Among extended family, Lorraine leaves her daughter Elaine Grant, granddaughter Robyn Santiago and her husband Franky, and great-granddaughter Kylie. A private funeral was held. Those wishing, memorial gifts may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or your favorite veterans cause.
