Linda L. (Smith) Allison

Linda L. (Smith) Allison, 65, of Brockton since 1975, died January 8, 2019. Daughter of the late Barbara and Augustine Russo, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Roslindale and Faulkner School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Good Samaritan Medical Center in the NICU for 30 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, camping, dogs, and was a Tinkerbell and Disney fan. Linda was the beloved wife of William J. Allison for 41 years; loving mother of Stefan Allison and his wife Ann of Methuen, Jayson Allison and his fiancée Melissa Ferrante of Brockton, and Christopher Allison of Brockton; grandmother of Devon, Caleb, Lily, Joesef, Nicholas, and Rowan; sister of Harold M. Smith, Richard E. Smith (and Mary), and Augustine M. Russo (and Terry); and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Friday 4-7:30 p.m., followed by a 7:30 p.m. prayer service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Cremation and private committal.
