Lida Dubreuil, 73, of Brockton, passed away on June 26, 2018. Raised in Hinche, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Danthier and Francisca Dubreuil. Lida was a gifted seamstress and embroiderer. Generous, she enjoyed cooking and sharing her delicious meals with everyone. She was always happy, and her good nature was infectious, bringing joy to others with her beautiful smile and humor. Lida was the beloved mother and best friend of Arnold J. Dubreuil and his wife Geraldine of Brockton, and the late Jessy (Dubreuil) Pierre; loving grandmother of Samantha, Jessicah, Stephan, and Shakyves. Lida leaves many additional family members, both here in the U.S. and overseas, including Dr. Nicole Belliard and family, Sen. Eddie Sajous and family, and Harold Destine and family. All are welcome to calling hours Friday, July 13th from 6-9 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral Mass Saturday, July 14th at 10:30 a.m. in Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton and burial at Melrose Cemetery. Reception to follow at the First Haitian Church of Brockton, "The Rock", 940 Main St., Brockton.
