Judy A. (Jones) Thompson, 61, of Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully May 13, 2017 surrounded by the people whom she loved. Judy earned an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and was a certified behavioral technician; she loved working as a kindergarten aide at St. Edward School then more recently at South Shore Educational Collaborative. An avid crafter, Judy especially enjoyed quilting and creating confections. Her life was lived in service to others and her family chooses this spirit of love as her legacy. Daughter of the late Theresa and Alfred Jones, Judy was the devoted wife of Kevin B. Thompson for 37 years; loving mother of Colleen Fleming and her husband Robert of Norton; dedicated “Mimi” of Evelyn; beloved sister of Alfred “Bud” Jones Jr. and his wife Ruth of Brockton, James Jones and his wife Patricia of Wareham, and Carolyn Jones-Anderson of Foxboro; and a dear aunt of many including her “kindred soul” godchild Siobhan Anderson.
