Juana E. Solis

Juana E. Solis, 103, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2019, surrounded by her family. Juana was a native of Mazatenango, Guatemala. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking her many traditional foods. Juana was the wife of the late Gustavo Benz; beloved mother of Irma Cunningham of Brockton and her late husband was William Cunningham, Lily Seis de Cabrera and her husband Luis Cabrera of Guatemala, Walter Benz and his wife Julia Benz of East Boston, and the late Irvin Benz; loving grandmother of Carol Garcia and her husband Jorge Garcia Sr. of New Bedford, Evelyn Mosley and her husband Larue Mosley of Powder Springs, GA, Giovanny Rivas and his partner Armand Robert of Brockton, Harold Rivas, Vinicio Cabrera of Guatemala, and Siomara Cabrera of Guatemala; great-grandmother of Jennifer, Viviana, Jose Jr., Jorge Jr., Brianna, Alexandra, Jonathan, Diego, Kassandra, Jade and Estaban; and a great-great grandmother of Mariana, Jason, Joseph, Christian and Adrian. She will be forever loved and deeply missed. All are welcome to her memorial service on Sunday, November 24th at 5 p.m. at Christian Fellowship, 822 Church Street, New Bedford, MA with a reception to follow at the church facilities.
