Jorge F. Leite

Jorge F. "Funah" Leite, 54, of Brockton, passed away tragically in an auto accident on June 16, 2018. Born in São Vicente, Cabo Verde, he was the son of the late Armando and Anna Leite. Jorge was the beloved husband of Teresa M. (Sears) Leite for 24 years; cherished father of Cameron, Nevaeh and Alyssa Leite; loving brother of Eloisa Brito of N.J., Henrique Leite of TX, Alberto Leite of Cabo Verde, Ana Spencer of Portugal, Nuno Leite of Cabo Verde, and the late Paul Leite; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was a dedicated employee of Pancon in Taunton for 29 years. Hardworking, he was a devoted husband and father, their source of protection and love. He enjoyed soccer and visits to the ocean. Jorge was happy with his daily routine, which included walking his dogs after a day’s work and fast-food Fridays. He will be profoundly missed and loved forever. All are welcome to calling hours Thursday 2-5 p.m., followed by a 5 p.m. service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main Street, Brockton. Private committal.
