Jane M. (Fleming) Lynch, 88, of Brockton, died peacefully at home Aug. 27, 2017. Native of Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Walsh) Fleming, who were from Ireland. Jane had resided in Brockton since 1963 after being in Baltimore and New York. She raised her children, volunteering at St. Edward School where they were educated and she was an active communicant of St. Edward Church.  Later on for 10 years she was an activities director at the Lutheran Home. She was a proud member of St. Edward School Mothers, and enjoyed bowling and line dancing at Massasoit Community College. Love of Family was everything to Jane.  Her sparkling eyes and warm smile welcomed everyone into her home. The Family wishes to thank all those Caregivers & Aids who enabled us to give Jane a loving sendoff, in particular Jean. Jane was the wife of the late Philip J. Lynch; beloved mother of Philip (Leslie Hyman)  of Texas, James (Zulma Suarez) of NJ, Thomas (Anne) of Pembroke, and Mary Patricia, Joseph and JoAnne (John Utter), all of Brockton; loving grandmother of Joshua Lynch (Lizzie), Samantha Lynch, Phil Kostousos, Rachel Lynch, Gabriel Lynch and Kelly Rushing; great-grandmother of Remi; sister of the late Mary McLaughlin, Catherine Lewis and James Fleming; and an aunt of many. All are welcome to calling hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, her funeral Friday at 9:30 a.m. from Waitt Funeral Home, funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Edith Stein Parish and burial at St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
